The New Emergence Art Prize 2024 offers a £1000 cash prize and a permanent feature in our online gallery. Our aim is to support underrepresented artists by providing both financial assistance and increased visibility.
This is our sixth open call and entries are welcome from all artists worldwide —regardless of training, education, age, nationality, gender, race, sexual orientation, etc.
There is no set theme; we are excited to showcase the diverse range of contemporary art being created around the world today.

Judging Panel
Habib Hajallie RBA
Habib Hajallie is the founder of New Emergence Art, he is an elected member of The Royal Society of British Artists, an honouree on Forbes’ prestigious 30 Under 30 list 2023, the winner of The UK New Artist of The Year Award 2022 and the winner of The Hermione Hammond Drawing Prize 2023 amongst other awards.
Alex Zawadzki
Alex Zawadzki is the founder and director of The Second Act gallery, established in the North of England and now touring between there and East London. The gallery delivers a programme with an emphasis on inclusion of artists from the North, as well as those from working class backgrounds.
Phoebe Boddy
Phoebe Boddy has been the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Figurative Art Prize at Mall Galleries, a nomination for the Kate Bryan Prize, and a SAATCHI Art Director's Pick. Boddy has exhibited extensively across europe. Her work has been featured in FAD Magazine, Art Rabbit, Art Plugged, & Sheer Luxe.
How To Apply
Complete the application form below.
1.
Pay the £15 submission fee for one artwork, £25 for two and £30 for three entries (the fee covers admin costs & contributes to the prize fund).
2.
Email 1 JPG image per entry (up to 2mb per file) OR a URL link for videos to info@newemergenceart.com
Please include your full name and the title of your artwork within the JPG title
(e.g. John Smith_Artwork Title).
